Douglas M Livie (1960-2002)
Douglas was a member of the Scottish Correspondence Chess Association for about 20 years, played in the Scottish CC Championships and had been selected for the Scottish Correspondence Olympiad Team. He was the holder of two correspondence master norms and was eagerly intending to go for his third. Douglas served on the SCCA Executive Committee with distinction, as Grading Officer from 1982-85, and Assistant Secretary from 1986-94.
